World class laboratories

IVF Laboratory with clean room class 1000 (ISO 6)

Quality of air in the clinical embryology laboratory is considered critical for high in vitro fertilization (IVF) success rates. Without the purest air, IVF laboratories may frequently experience unidentified drops in pregnancy rates. We are very concerned about microbial contamination of embryo cultures, but we are even more concerned about air pollutants that can contaminate the laboratory. Read more

Lighting system

At Beloved Fertility Center, we use a special lighting system to prevent embryo damage and promote physiologic growth. One study has found that exposure to the cool-white fluorescent lighting commonly used in fertility clinics, research labs, and most office environments could be particularly damaging to an embryo’s healthy development. Vitrosafe™ with ICSI workstation and embryo culture system

Fluctuation in environmental conditions during the IVF and ICSI process can lead to reduced success rates in IVF treatment. IVF procedures are traditionally conducted using open-system laminar flow cabinets, for which it is difficult to control both pH and temperature due to interference of the room environment. Active IVF™ culture system

Our incubators are the heart of the IVF laboratory. We have invested in special incubators named Active® IVF, which is groundbreaking incubation technology that creates a virtual uterine environment. Due to the precise control of temperature and pH under a hypoxic system like the human uterus, Active-IVF® can remove stress during in vitro development and significantly increase the clinical pregnancy rate by at least 30% compared with conventional IVF incubators. Time-lapse embryo monitoring

Primo Vision™ – Time-lapse embryo monitoring system as “embryo culture under a microscope”

Now, the embryologist is able to watch and assess the development of each and every single embryo in the incubator through a monitor attached to the incubator as well as real-time video streaming on mobile devices. After fertilization, the cells are placed in an incubator equipped with a microscope-camera system.  Read more

IMSI system for choosing the best sperm

Our IVF laboratory is fully equipped with a microscopic Leica microsystem, model Leica DMI 6000, that is the first and only fully setting system in Thailand for magnifying the sperm in detail at least 6000 times for choosing the best sperm for ICSI (intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection, IMSI). This highly-magnified view enables us to identify subtle sperm defects that are not visible with a conventional ICSI microscope. Read more

Oosight™ spindle view

ICSI with the assistance of meiotic spindle imaging is a new system for the production of high quality embryos. Observation of meiotic spindles in oocytes is one way of evaluating embryo developmental competence. The spindle is non-invasively visualized by polarized light microscopy. It is possible to perform ICSI more safely and with optimal timing during meiosis by visualizing the meiotic spindle just before ICSI. Read more

Computer assisted semen analysis (CASA)

CASA – Computer Assisted Semen Analysis, IVOS II system

CASA- COMPUTER ASSISTED SEMEN ANALYSIS – a state-of-the-art facility available at Beloved Fertility Center

The main goals in the evaluation of the male partner are to identify reversible conditions that can be successfully managed and/or irreversible conditions for which assisted reproduction is indicated, and to identify genetic abnormalities that may affect the patient and/or his offspring and necessitate proper counseling before treatment. Preimplantation genetic testing

Preimplantation genetic tests are composed of preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) for screening chromosome number of preimplantation embryos and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) for diagnosing inherited genetic disorder. Read more

Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)

What is preimplantation genetic diagnosis? Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) is a technique for testing embryos created by in vitro fertilization (IVF) for specific genetic disorders. The techniques enable couples with a particular inherited condition in their…
